Today is a day we remember the fallen who so bravely gave their lives for us to have the freedom we experience today. My friend just got back from an Asian country where they were not allowed to say “pray” or “Jesus” or “church.” I am grateful for all our freedoms, but especially the one that allows me to worship freely and be a part of a community that seeks to glorify Him in all ways.
We will not have the SDG Gathering this week. Both Lisa and I are behind on visiting from last week and need a week to catch our breaths. Thank you for your grace – I know many of us struggle to find the balance in our time for all the things God has graciously put in our lives. This is just another way we are trying to live out #OperationRest.
We will have SDG Connections and I invite you to read what is up and coming this week and to stop by on Wednesday and Friday to leave an encouraging comment for them…and be encouraged by what God has done in their lives.
We will see you back here next week for our #SDG Gathering. Thank you for your grace and participation in this community. It’s not the same without your voice.
(In fact, we would love to have your voice for SDG Connections. We have room for 7 more voices in June. Click here for more info.)
