Hi, my name is Abby [daughter of author and blogger plus, Soli Deo Gloria founder, Jen] and I read this book called Diva Diaries. This book is filled with Middle School advice that I plan to use next year. The main character, Catie Conrad is such a funny character who I have a lot in common with. We both have strong beliefs in God and both have really funny siblings that are always knocking on your door.
This book is a Christian book which has a lot of verses and scripture which I love to copy down and look up in my bible. I learned a lot about Jesus in
this book and holding on to good friends and even love your enemies. I liked [no loved] this book so much because it really gave me inspiration to try things that Catie did and get fun ideas to do with my church. This book taught me that God is with you every step of the way even when it’s hard. The author, Angie Spady used scripture in a way that I’ve never seen in books. She repeats the same verse to stick it in your brain.
(Abby was given a complimentary copy of The Diva Diaries for review by Shelton Interactive, but her opinions stated here are her own.) To purchase this book or to read more, please visit Amazon.com or your local bookstore.
